CCSO APB: adoptable dog
CLUTCH
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has released an all-points bulletin for
the community. Clutch, an American bulldog mix who has been in training with the CCSO’s Cell Dog program, is up for adoption.
Clutch was once a hunting dog and later in life, a stray. That’s when he entered the CCSO’s training program.
“Clutch’s training is coming along nicely,” Jail Administrative Services Commander Lt. Jessica Long said. “He’s an older dog that’s tired of hunting pigs — all he wants is the bacon.”
Another Cell Dog has been adopted. On Nov. 12, Cell Dog Princess completed her “sentence” in the County Jail Cell Dog program and was released to a new family, Gene and Barbara Welch.
“They were all adjusting nicely and looking forward to a happy future together,” said Lt. Long.
