Favorite performer gives free concert

Valerie Sneade Turning Leaf Productions turned over all its proceeds Sunday night in a free concert, the final of its Fab Five concert series.

Valerie Sneade, singer and founder of Turning Leaf, performed a favorite collection of songs in “The Barbra Streisand Songbook” to a crowd gathered at the Cultural Center Theater in Port Charlotte.

The free concert is the first performance of a year-long series in which Turning Leaf and The Cultural Center Theater will partner up to raise money for the theater’s technical improvements, which will benefit all performers who call the Cultural Center Theater home.
