VAC: Re-creating ‘The Creation’ and other great works
Using house paint, artist Suzanne Bowles worked to re-create Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam” at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda. She and her sister, Carole Cobb, will contribute the 8-by-12-foot canvas to the Visual Arts Center’s “Leo vs. Mike” Fine Arts Festival in October. A total of 25 works will honor the month-long event.
