Summer Ball rounds Charlotte’s season
The Summer Ball presented by the Fred Lang Foundation in partnership with Charlotte Behavioral Health Care will be presented at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center in Punta Gorda. The service organization Star Mothers of America was launched in 1942 as the brainchild of Army Capt. George Maines as a support group for mothers of service members.
